Participating in the Autonomous X Artists collaboration was an incredibly fulfilling experience that allowed me to merge my passion for art with functional design. The project gave me the platform to contribute my unique illustrations to a series of painted desk tabletops, transforming everyday office furniture into personalized, creative spaces. It was exciting to see how my artwork could bring life to something as essential as a desk and create a workspace that encourages inspiration and productivity.
The entire process, from concept to final product, felt like I was contributing to something much bigger—helping to reshape how people view their work environments. The special edition auction was a highlight, allowing me to share my designs with a wider audience, and to know that someone could own and use a piece of functional art that I helped create was incredibly rewarding. It elevated the desk from just a utilitarian object to something that sparks creativity and expression, making workspaces more personal and engaging.

DETAILS
On the technical side, I began the process with initial sketches using Procreate, where I explored different concepts and styles. Once the designs were finalized digitally, they were transferred to the desk surfaces using a high-quality printing process that ensured both durability and vibrant colors. I was mindful of how the artwork would interact with the desk’s functionality, making sure key design elements didn’t disrupt its practical use. The finished product combined clean lines, bold colors, and thoughtful placement to create a desk that was not only visually engaging but also fully functional for everyday use.
